"An extremely beautiful hotel, built of stone, in the Greek style. Resting here, it is as if you fall into an interesting story. All the staff, especially Helen and Yanis, are very friendly. The food is extremely tasty and varied. Many thanks to the cook. There was always hot water, the rooms were constantly cleaned .We are very satisfied with our vacation at Village Stone. "Lovely hotel, especially the newly renovated family bungalows. Very friendly helpful staff lovely wide selection of food and plenty to do for the kids and spacious pools. There was an issue with the aircon on the first day but the staff quickly logged it and was fixed by the next morning. Only thing they could improve on would be the pool tables and arcade, very dated most machines were broken but this did not take anything away from the stay which was lovely."

"This hotel is great and the breakfast and cleanliness are excellent. My only observations are that it would be great to have service around the pool and the storage space in the rooms definitely needs to be looked as, most of our clothes had to stay in piles on the floor. With that said I could go back to the hotel"

Great hotel in Rethymno

"Lovely hotel in Rethymno. The service was good and very helpful. There was plenty of options for food and drink in the all-inclusive package, I'd highly recommend. They had some entertainment on at 9pm pretty much every day but there wasn't much else other than that. We stayed in the suite and it was wonderful for a couple's one week holiday. It's only five minutes to the beach which was nice an easy."

"Beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful. Facilities great, hotel feel is laid back and luxurious but not fussy. Very clean and beautifully kept grounds. Location is great 30 minute walk to beautiful little town Panormo which has plenty restaurants, bars and a few shops. 30 minute drive into the city of Rethymno. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed base to explore Crete, we stayed for 1 week and felt we could have easily stayed another few days. "
