"We had a fabulous time in Launceston. We flew in from Melbourne and got a taxi to the hotel which was very reasonably priced. We then got the bus (pre-booked) to Hobart after our stay. Perfect location for our trip to cradle mountain. The hotel is a heritage hotel, which has been maintained and updated. Such lovely staff, service and such a high standard of cleanliness throughout. "

"Property is very clean, well run and conveniently located - very close to Cataract Gorge. A washer dryer is available for a reasonable fee. Restaurants and stores nearby. DON’T MISS: Sunday market in Evandale - a cute town only 30 minutes away by public bus (check the schedule), even shorter by car. Also, have breakfast or brunch at “Earthly Eats” on Kingsway, 8 min walk from hotel, great menu + food! "
