They take safety on site seriously. I didn't feel safe staying in the back room on the corner of the hotel because we were being followed by a car full of creepy men. So, I told the girl at the front desk about this and she changed our room to another one closer to our friends and even asked security to make sure we were safe. Special thanks to her.

This hotel was exceptional for the price! $34 for a night. Its cleaner than many other hotels in Laughlin. The outside is a bit dingy, but $34. I will definately stay there again.

Rooms are upgraded and super clean, pool is sparkling, staff is friendly and helpful… You can’t find a better stay for the price on the Colorado! Plus, I love that it’s motor Lodge style and you can park your vehicle right in front of your room

This is probably the oldest property in Laighlin . "New Pioneer" is not accurate at all. Room was clean but did not feel safe. Staff was not very friendly. First-time in Laughlin.and wanted to find a reasonable Hotel to stay on our road trips to CA. This was not it. Many other properties that are beautiful for a few dollars more.

The New Pioneer Hotel and Casino is a no-frills motel at a good price. It is adjacent to the Golden Nugget on the banks of the Colorado River. Our room was basic, but clean with a good mattress. It appeared the carpet and tile had been recently updated. We had an outdoor entry with parking in front of our room. The walk to the lobby/casino was equivalent to a short city block. I would stay there again, but I would request a room closer to the lobby.

We love it at the new Pioneer. Cool rooms, great food, friendly staff. Minor downside is the parking lot asphalt is terrible on our wheelchairs but when at the Pioneer we’ll get to where we’re going.

I would most certainly recommend this property while in Laughlin. It’s not fancy but it’s clean, it’s quiet, it sits on the river and has a great walkway along the Colorado. It’s a favorite of mine!

I asked for a ground level room at check in. The only thing available was a “pet friendly room” I thought long and hard about having to climb stairs or a bottom pet room. I chose the pet room. It was very clean no smell at all. Would have been perfect if the little yapper next door was a little more quiet. All said for $30 what can you say a place to sleep and shower good budget lodge.

The restaurant at the Pioneer, The Bumbleberry Flats is very nice and the prices are comparable to other restaurants for price and servings. We really enjoyed it.

When entering my room, the first thing I noticed the bed is disgusting. There’s blood on the pillowcases very dirty, even though they remodeled everything around it was new, but the bed was dirty. Not happy at all the staff was not friendly at all, when checking in and when calling housekeeping for the problem of the blood on the pillowcase, they said they don’t clean the rooms every day they clean every third day which would’ve been the day I left, I had supervisors come and see the situation and they change the whole bed
