"The Holiday Inn Express at Blount Island is a treasure. Tucked away from the busy side of Jacksonville, it’s an ideal location for those who crave peace and quiet. The landscape is lovely with beautiful trees in the vicinity. In addition, it’s nice to know that the hotel is near a port where people embark on cruise ships departing to the Caribbean. Another bonus to staying there is that there’s an excellent Thai restaurant only two miles away from the hotel. The Holiday Inn Express at Blount Island is a good deal all the way around."

"One of my worst stays ever in a hotel.. The phone, microwave and the water pressure was not working correctly at all.. Hair was in the tub and shower once again on my stay.. the toilet was leaking every time I flushed it.. I stayed from Friday to Sunday morning not once did someone change my sheets and also I had one rag with a few towels the whole weekend"

"Nice property, large room, i don't eat breakfast but it looked very nice clean and fresh . Including waffle, eggs, sausage , fruit and more. Breakfast lady was super pleasant. Room was nice a clean had a fridge and little kitchen bar with sink. Only complaint was the smell off the air conditioner in my room. It could have been just my room. All the other facilities smelled nice and fresh."

"My stay at Margaritaville Jacksonville Beach Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. What impressed me most was how clean and well-maintained everything was—not just the rooms, but the entire property. The beach area itself was also very clean, making it even more enjoyable to spend time outside. My room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. You can tell the hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest experience. Overall, this is a perfect spot if you’re looking for a beachfront hotel with excellent service, clean accommodations, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely return."

"This hotel was in a good location, lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean. Room was clean, comfortable, nice beds, multiple pillows. The bathroom actually had a separate shower stall and bathtub (which was a nice size). Breakfast is included and offers a good variety, hot food, cold, danish, and a great coffee maker! Friendly staff."

"The only issue we had was that we booked a 2 Queen bed room and we only had one King bed. It wasn't what we paid for and the hotel said that the 3rd party site we used (Hotels.com), did not know their inventory when booking so they offered something they didn't have. That part was disappointing, but everything else about the hotel and area was good."

"My stay was wonderful. The staff at checkin were polite and helpful. The woman at checkout (who was training when I checked in) was absolutely amazing. I wish I had gotten her name because she was very personable while dealing with three things at once. The room itself was very comfortable and roomy. While there were a lot of people coming through and sitting in the lobby at different times of the evening, they seemed to be at least tied to the hotel to some degree and not random stragglers. Breakfast was...adequate. Whoever made the bacon must not like it (lol) and the eggs were probably powdered, but everything else was fine. I would definitely stay here again and maybe just peek at breakfast before deciding whether or not to McGriddle it."
