Atami Escape Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice location with excellent views of the sea. Beaches are full of rocks, so very dangerous as water is very rough. Place is extremely old and needs to be updated. No water pressure at all when you shower. They have sea water pools at the beach but they are full of algae and are very slippery. Food is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The walking trails are beautiful but bring walking shoes for your safety! The sunset was espectacular!!"

"The staff was very helpful and room was very clean—liked the king sized bed and that the shower had hot water—rare along the El Salvador coast. Pool and location next to beach was nice as well. Free room service was a good touch also. Hotels.com site misleads a little. The Deluxe King suite does not have an ocean view, nor does it have a bathtub in the room, as the photos show on the listing. There’s only one room on the whole property that has all those things, which we did not find out until we got there—their VIP suite. The internet/WiFi connection is very poor, so their TV consistently froze up when it was used. We also had to call maintenance to get the toilet repaired twice—for such a pricey hotel, not sure so much effort needed to be put into that. Overall, a good stay, but for the cost, would expect more."

"I stayed here for my birthday weekend trip with two girlfriends and it was awesome! The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms have AC and hot water. The property is walking distance from the El Tunco nightlife spots and directly in front of the the property is a convenience store. I would highly recommend and I can’t wait to come back!"

"The staff were very rude and not helpful, they act like they are all that just because they are the only resort next to the beach, not coming back , After we finished getting up from breakfast, I overheard one of the servers tell another server “It was about time they left” We are not coming back to the Cameron"
