"Really nice hotel, right in the centre of a vibrant area of town, easy access to transport links. Great dining and drinking to property area. Awesome service by staff and breakfast included in stay, would recommend hotel to friends and would stay again "
"Had a great couple of days here. The reception bar with games is a real USP. Laura and Simon were brilliant and really went above and beyond for us. Great local knowledge.
Rooms are comfortable, clean and while basic, had all we needed. I liked the touch of a general waste and recycling bin in the room, not something I've seen often in hotels but would like to see more of."
"This hotel would be fine in cooler temperatures but it was so hot in our rooms that it was very difficult to sleep at all. There are air conditioning units in the rooms but they did not cool things down much at all. You can open windows at night but this hotel is right off the freeway so it's got a lot of road noise.
It was a high price too for the lack of sleep we had.
The front desk staff were really nice, there were drinks available all the time which was great, and the hotel rooms we were in were clean."
"I was worried about the lack of AC and the teeny tiny room. YES the room was small, but it was well-appointed and housed a little "hidden" kitchen under the counter. It also had a decent-sized fridge. The room was clean and had storage and cubbies to help fit everything. Yes, you had to sleep with the window open, but the neighborhood was quiet. Compared to my next hotel, which boasted AC (barely worked) and a larger room, this place was a gem. The next property had no fridge, no decent storage, horrible lighting, and no comfortable seating. Give the Alpenblick a try, you wont be disappointed! Another cool thing-they have their own bees!"
"This is my second stay at this hotel and I will always stay here when I’m visiting Bern. It’s a lovely true 5 star property and the staff are always so welcoming.
I would like to say a special thank you to Luca on reception for all his help yesterday and lovely conversation.
