"Everything was great — especially the location. The staff were excellent: friendly, helpful, and made the stay even better. There was also a great sunset view from the dining room, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast wasn’t bad eithe"
"There was no car park and the parking we did find was expensive and inconvenient.
The lift wasn't working for most of our stay and when it did work my wife and I both got trapped in it on separate occasions. It was also rather small. The pillows were passed their usefulness date.
There was no bar or restaurant
It was hard work to get up the stairs to our rooms especially with luggage"
"Amazing location, great staff. Very flexible. Good value for money for a bank holiday weekend. The studio apartment is spacious. Only thing I would improve on is the minor cleanliness of the room. Needs better hoovering and checking behind the furniture."
"The hotel was clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. The decor was very dated and in need of some serious TLC. It was quite noisy - lots of doors banging throughout the night, but this probably depends on the guests. Parking could have been free, but was an additional £5 a day, which isn't too bad I guess. Disappointed that given the hotel's history it didn't champion Wales in it's offerings - the tea bags in the room were for Yorkshire tea and the breakfast products were from Somerset, of course this doesn't make or break your stay but would have been a nice touch. All in all a perfectly ok stay."
"Toilet bowl had small bits of excrement on it and the condition of the PROM room in my opinion was very tired in need of painting and the carpet replaced.
When I phoned the owner he couldn’t come to see as he wasn’t available and completely refused to offer any refund or support .
He wasn’t very professional when he swore at me and just hung up so we decided to leave and travel home so I can’t comment on the restaurant or anything else"
