"Check In was quick and easy. Lovely greeting. Loved the idea of foregoing housekeeping each day, in return for one free drink each on the evening. Which we took advantage of. Rooms were in an external bedroom block. They were clean with tea and coffee facilities. No securit safe though, which would be a good addition. Our room was near the steps to upstairs rooms and were noisy at times, and was near the rear of pub and extractor fans were loud until turned off, once off very quiet. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Bathroom door made it quite tight for getting in and out of bathrrom. Would benefit from a sliding door or bi-fold door. Had a good shower and excellent water pressure. All meals were lovely, quality over quantity. Oinon rings were delicious. Cooked breakfast were delicious, a good start to the day. All the Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here. "

"It was a lovely place to stay. Peaceful. Near enough to everywhere we wanted to go. Sheila and Peter were friendly, helpful and not intrusive. We slept well. Very clean and spaceous. Nicer than the photos suggest. For some reason, at the time we booked, the hotels.com website said no sheets provided but of course there was full bedding etc. Happy to return."
