"Great hotel. We ended up staying at Hotel Laki instead of the bungalows because it was more convenient.
The staff were so kind. One of the nicest we've encountered in Iceland.
- The receptionist changed our booking month when we got it wrong and helped us cancel one of our double bookings because of the snowstorm.
- The restaurant staff, Arna and Jose, gave my daughter boxed apple juice, bread to feed the horses inc baby horses nearby, gave a small gift to my daughter, and a small cake when my daughter told them it was my birthday.
Spacious rooms, great bar area with fun games to play during the snowstorm. "

"The hotel is rural but looks nice with a beautiful area around it. Our room was very small however and for the price I was expecting more. The breakfast was included with the stay and was tasty. The staff was friendly. The true highlight was seeing the auroras for the first time. "

"Beautiful location. Cabin is spacious facing a lake. Very beautiful. Heated floor, friendly staff. The onsite dinner is outstanding! Great place to see northern light. Unfortunately we did not see one during our stay. The only complaint is hot water in the shower only lasted about 10 minutes then ice cold. The breakfast is limited and dull. "
