"A super place to stay with a full kitchen that actually is functional. The room is small but the view makes it 💯! Staff very friendly and accommodating!"
"Cozy, sweet little retreat. It was a bit off the beaten path and for a few uncomfortable 8pm moments we thought we booked something that did not actually exist :)
Well, it's real and honestly in comparison to six other places this one won us over. It's not a luxury place, but it is so clean and so well maintained with radiant heat and nice loving touches like tea bags and coffee and little squares of chocolate awaiting us. Beds were comfortable, bedding soft and the way the two bedrooms were separated (there were four of us: two adults and two teens) was perfect. Great night stay after a full day of getting soaking wet exploring this absolutely amazing country."
"The hotel is not too beautiful from the outside, but the rooms are clean and comfy. Food was very good. People were very nice. Several restaurants and a fun bar nearby, grocery store, etc. Cool hike to a waterfall right behind the hotel, Highly recommend."
"Hotel seemed to a tad remote. Not much going on in the area. Wish I had hike to the nearby Sister waterfall less than 1/2 mile from the hotel. Nice dinner and breakfast."
"Loved this property. It was my favorite of all of the places we stayed. Beautiful view from the cabin. The bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff were friendly"
"Accomodation was good in general but a little smaller than we had imagined. Also we were two couples and thought we had booked a 2 double bedroom cottage but we had two rooms with bunk beds and one bedroom with two single beds and literally no luggage storage space in the rooms. We had to use the lounge area and one of the bedrooms as our storage space. The location was ideal for visiting Eastern Iceland, staff were friendly, and views were good from the cottages."
"Best breakfast but hotel was overpriced. Triple room was small but enough. 1 chair in the room and 2 towels. Breakfast had an excellent selection - hot food, pancakes, pastries, deli meats, salad, fruits. Shared but quiet balcony to see the view"
