Huge upgrades done to this property! The flooring, bedding, and appliances are all clean, which is important to me. The owner/management and staff are amazing! If you have any concerns or issues, they accommodate where they can! Smells fresh, and if you have stayed in Lakeview before the water is horrible. However, here I didn't deal with the rotten egg smell when showering. They are undergoing a major renovation with the new owners. You can't beat the price for what you get in this lodge!

The room seams recently refreshed it would have been nice to have face tissue to blow my nose. The mattress was a little hard for one of us to sleep well but overall it was good

There was a used bandaid in my sheets, floor was dirty, door wasn’t sealed properly so the heat came on nonstop. Stayed two nights, nothing was refreshed, not coffee even. Not a good place to stay

This was the worst place we had ever stayed at, it was late, we where avoiding a late night storm. The room size was good, but that was all! There was hair all over the bathroom sink! Floor appeared to not be moped or vacuumed! The microwave table was covered in dust and crumbs, and the refrigerator had rust spots all over. We found dirt/lint in the sheets! We slept on the top of the mattress, as happened to have our own blankets with us as well as a couple of pillows! Thank goodness.! We tried to go back to desk, but the clerk had let and put a sign on the door, but we could not reach him, and he was not there when we checked out either! There was a reason it was the cheapest hotel in town!

I love that the property is very quiet now that winter is coming. The hotel manager is the easiest person to talk to and has become a friend. He is always caring about everyone that stays there. He will make sure your stay is comfortable and everything is working to your satisfaction.

The bedspread had some nasty stains in the middle of it and the floor was very dirty. The rest of my experience was fine, it was warm and welcoming.. The bed sheets were clean and so was the bathroom. Just need to pay attention to the floor and as said, wash the bedspread. I did not want to sit on those human stains in the middle.

Convenient drive from Lee Vining, but should have booked elsewhere or drivin longer. Property was not kept up, suspect no staff to clean or maintain it. Room was sloppily painted, missing a bedside lamp. Couch was dirty with dog paw prints and hairs on it. Drapes partly off hooks and we had to fix before closing them to sleep.

Although it is an older building, they have updated it! It's very clean which is most important to me. Price was good. Other reviews mentioned older towels, not a problem for me because they smelled freshly washed. We had lots of room, a love seat and 2 chairs.

This motel has good value for the price. While it is not yet a high class motel, the new manager is eager to improve the facility and is very friendly and thoughtful. It was a pleasure to stay at this motel.

I liked the fact that the manager of this property is trying his best to update everything, putting in new room and trying to make it a 4 star hotel. Not everything is going to be perfect but at least its a place to lay your head, watch tv and have a hot shower.

Manager is an absolutely nice person. The only drawback is the after quiet time drunken people who are working on the hotel. Otherwise its a quiet hotel. I love going back

The mattress wasn’t comfortable. Cleanliness was fine, nothing to brag about. The service however, wasn’t great. The desk clerk just told me to give him my cards, didn’t ask or anything. I guess it doesn’t matter that I’m the customer, he just talks to people like he wants. I won’t stay there again.

Slow check in
Extremely slow check in, trouble communicating in English and a new employee was also learning hiw to check in guests but i needed to unpack as i had olaces to go. There were a lot of ants in my room, otherwise the room was fine. Be careful of stairs to second floor, easy to trip on the steel grating.

Typical low cost, run down hotel. Currently doing some renovations but workmanship is very poor. At least they are making an effort. Room had dirty stinky towels and hand towels. Tub barely drained. By the time the shower was over the tub had about two inches of standing water in it.

Just don't. We arrived and noticed how unkept things were outside. Pipes, hoses, garbage and construction materials were scattered around. We noticed people sitting around outside one the downstairs rooms, playing guitar, laughing and being loud at nearly 11pm. There was a distinct smell of urin; my husband said it smelled like a dirty cat box. Upon getting into the room the stench was overwhelming. It smelled like old dusty mold. The dust on the bed was so bad when I sat down, we could see a cloud of dust. There were several trails of ants in the bathroom and brown dirty dog paw prints on the side of the mattress pad. The bedding smelled like it hadn't been laundered in months; a musty mold stench that was so overwhelming it was difficult to breath. There had been no air flow and upon turning the fan/AC it smelled like dust burning on the motor. Long hair in the bathroom and what appeared to be used tissue on the floor between the shower and sink. We didn't want to touch anything. We stripped the bed and just laid on top to rest after 15 hours on the road. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else, even if it means a different town. This place was disgusting. I can only assume the owner /manager doesn't see the safty issues of construction material laying about nor the general fifth. By 4am we had rested enough and left. We couldn't take the stench any longer. I understand it's being updated but it appears that's been the case since 2020. NOPE!

Not what it appears in the photos, outdated and filthy. Arrived to a room that had no bedding and hadnt been cleaned after waiting for over 30 min. The office staff spoke hardly and english. The bedding and room I received was filthy and stained with hair all over. Would not come back again. Only staying because there were no other rooms available in the area.
