"The pool area is nice and with 4 pools at least one pool should be off limits to children. We also had a snafu with the bedding (stained comforter) but once we told the staff it was immediately replaced. "

"The property itself was okay. When we first arrived at the cabin, there was a strong smell of rotten wood mixed with air freshener. The beds were comfortable, but the bedding had a strong scent of synthetic fabric softener. Since we are very sensitive to fragrances, this was difficult for us. We didn’t have much communication with the staff other than at check-out. The bathroom was quite old and kept clogging. The office was closed most of the time, and when I called the number posted on the door, no one answered. That said, we really loved the wood-burning fireplace inside the cabin—that was actually the main reason we decided to stay."

"Stay somewhere else. The bathrooms haven't been updated since the 1970's, truly a disgrace. One night there was a fire alarm outside our room, staff was absolutely pathetic. Nobody came to check that guests had evacuated. Staff weren't easily identifiable. Absolute chaos and confusion. Next day when we talked to manager she just brushed it all off. Best yet, they have no fire equipment whatsoever in the rooms. This is a potential fire trap if someone is a heavy sleeper. The hot pool access is nice, but you have to pay that on top of the hotel room charges (they call it a resort fee). The pools are old and dated as well, with some significant cracks. We will not return."
