The room is small but very new and clean. Be aware the lodge is in an area that is still being developed. Looking out of the only window from the room, we are seeing a construction site with a lot of trash and debris. I wish the owner could have put some potted plants at the deck outside to hide a little. Also, limited towels (2 pieces to be exact) were provided with no room services for our two nights stay.

The apartment is not too spacious compared with the others we stayed. The apartment is available for six people but then the dining table is small with only four chairs. Some of us need to sit on sofa or stand when eating. The cooking utensils are limited and no oven is provided. But the location is convenient with supermarket nearby and you can enjoy the galaxy of stars at night only by walking out of the flat.

Next to a construction site. Shower head didn’t work, only the handheld shower worked. Small shower, so every time you turned, you would hit the tap and then put it boiling hot water. Tv needs to be reconfigured.

The actual room was fine. It was hard to get code to work right to open door and AC was fussy. Where things went wrong was when they double booked the room. I’d had a long day and showered and went to bed early. After I was in bed someone opened my door. The hotel staff had given the “secure” door code to another couple. They didn’t seem to understand this was upsetting for a solo traveler. Don’t support this behavior. I explained, I gave them chances to make it right; they did not. Stay elsewhere.

Spacious place (we booked a 2 bedroom) and my family liked it a lot. The amenities were great. Convenient driving to the main town of Tekapo. On the improvement side, we were sent an incorrect unit number which quite a bit of frustration. The host was responsive and handle the confusion promptly. The curtains in the rooms couldn't fully block external light, with the long days of the season, that would make it harder for people who are sensitive to lights to sleep. Suggest adopt hotel standard curtains that could fully block external light.

The room was absolutely beautiful. I would love to stay here again. One thing I'll note is that I think the location is a bit far from the town centre, so if you are visiting Tekapo via public transport, note that there'll be a bit of walking to get there. For someone who doesn't mind some walking or is driving to Tekapo, it may be just perfect!

Gorgeous modern space in an absolutely stunning location. Couldn’t believe the views of the mountains just from the driveway. Easy and convenient free parking. Would definitely stay here again but a few small things could make this a 5/5: wish we had known there was construction going on immediately next to the property we would be staying at (made sleeping in a bit loud), wish there was a lamp or 2 in main living space (we just borrowed one from a bedroom) and would have liked a cutting board and dryer. But the space was so cozy and clean and spacious, these were truly minor things. Loved our time here and would definitely recommend!!
