"As a solo female traveler, this was one of the most frightening hotel experiences I have ever had.
At approximately 4:30 a.m., I was awakened by a stranger attempting to enter my room. The only reason they did not gain full access was because the security bar was engaged. Had that bar not been in place, a complete stranger would have entered my room while I was asleep.
When I reported the incident to the front desk, I was told it was simply an error and that someone had mistakenly been given access to my room. What was even more concerning was the apparent lack of urgency or understanding of how serious this situation was. Allowing a stranger access to an occupied guest room is not a minor oversight—it is a major safety failure.
Because this hotel is located next to a 24-hour casino and gas station, I no longer felt safe staying on the property. However, I also did not feel safe leaving alone in the dark before daylight. I was effectively trapped in an environment where I felt vulnerable and unsafe until sunrise.
The hotel promised a refund as a result of this incident, but I never received it.
Mistakes happen, but guest safety must be the highest priority. Human trafficking is real. Every guest—especially those traveling alone—deserves to know that the hotel is taking reasonable measures to ensure that strangers cannot gain access to occupied rooms in the middle of the night.
This incident was unacceptable, and the hotel's response after was equally disappointing."
"The room was dirty hair on the sheets from someone else. What looked like makeup on the pillow cases. Stains on the window curtains and shower curtains.
Hair in bathroom from previous customer.
Only good thing was the air conditioning worked great."
"Actually we were very disappointed with the property. Hooks and paper roll were coming off the wall, cracks in the wall, no stopper in sink, no working tv stations without membership, paint job is terrible, no black out curtains so outside light shone in all night. 95% of the time there were no employees. Will not return."
