"My Stay at the Aquarius Casino Resort: A Mixed Bag in Laughlin
I recently spent a few nights at the Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, and while there were some definite highlights, there were a few logistical hiccups that kept it from being a perfect stay. If you’re planning a trip, here is the breakdown of what to expect.
The Highlights: Comfort & Views
The absolute best part of the stay was the room comfort. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bedding; the mattress was plush, and the pillows actually had some support—not those paper-thin ones you find at many desert resorts. It made coming back from the casino floor a genuine relief.
Then, there’s the view. If you book a room on one of the higher floors (the "Panorama" rooms), the floor-to-ceiling windows are a game-changer. While the Colorado River is the main attraction, the way the water stretches out and reflects the mountains makes it feel more like a serene lake view right from your bed. Watching the sunrise over the water was easily the highlight of my mornings.
The Downside: Connectivity Issues
Unfortunately, the experience took a hit when it came to the internet. Despite being a major resort, the Wi-Fi was:
Unreliable: The signal frequently dropped, which was frustrating for checking local restaurant menus or maps.
It felt a bit like 2010 technology in a 2026 world.
Over all without a doubt i would come back! "
"There was a dirty wash cloth left, bathroom floor was dirty, the shower head was broken, no coffee then charged for coffee in the casino.
The night stand had something nasty spilled on it. The review said it was quiet. Could hear all kinds of noise. All staff were great except the check out lady seemed to have bothered her. Won’t stay there again."

"Room was what was expected in an older casino hotel. Staff was not willing to really help out much when you had request. Needed an extra pillow and that took an act of Congress to get done. A manager finally had to step in and help the girl.
Only have a couple hours of pool sunlight because it’s stuck between two tall buildings. And it was freezing cold. "
"Our stay was magnificent! Only thing I feel would make this property better is the use of microwaves, or on site room service. If you want to eat and didn’t pack cold food then you must go downstairs or spend extra in fees through for delivery and hoping they bring it to you. This would not deter me from staying again though "
"Everything was so convenient to the parking garage. Check in right there, room right there, food right at the casino entrance. My room ac/heat was easy to use and worked, the remote was simple and the t.v. had good sound. The property is a little worn and older but staff was excellent. It was nice to see a business fully staffed- everyone has to cut it back these days. Claim Jumper wonderful. Thank you. "
"I honestly thought that I would be dealing with some decent humans especially since they agreed to make accommodations for me via phone when I found myself in an unfortunate situation, and I was extremely grateful, but when I arrived at the property, the older lady working front desk was so rude that she had me in tears within not even 10 minutes! She was very cold and condescending and I had the feeling that she didn’t approve of me and my girlfriend being lesbians and she also basically questioned me on my furbabies’ because she was convinced that they were out in a hot car with no air conditioning on and when I told her that they were fine and that they were in the air conditioning she argued with me and then she didn’t even give me the room that my mom had reserved for me!! She put me in a jenky, smelly, dive of a room that hadn’t even been cleaned yet! Trash can was full, no blankets or towels, something white and suspicious all over the mirror, not swept up or vacuumed, all I can say is save your money and go across the river to Laughlin to the casinos where you can get a room that’s actually clean and people are friendly "
