"Great room"

"My room was crawling with roaches, as was the entire hotel. There are roach traps set up in the lobby and by the elevators. The carpet in my room also had stains and were sticky in some areas. Breakfast was basic. They ran out of a lot of things like eggs, sausages, and waffle mix and would not replenish even though there was still 30 minutes left of breakfast service. This happened a few times. The hotel washer and dryer do not work. My clothes were soaking wet after an hour in the dryer. I gave up and brought it all back to my room to air dry. I'll be expecting a refund for this. Two of the front desk staff were quite rude when speaking to myself and a few other guests that I overheard. The trash cans on each floor were often overflowing, they clearly do not collect the trash daily. People would throw out their towels, bedding, dirty diapers, etc in the halls right by their doors and those would not be picked up until a day or two later. The fire alarm went off one morning for about an hour. The fire fighters and police arrived and they couldn't figure out why, they said it was possibly just a system failure. Hopefully this was just a one time thing, but it was a huge inconvenience and possibly dangerous if the alarm system was triggered in error. Overall, this place sucked. I've stayed in cheaper places that were better than this."

"The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is really what makes all the difference here! They are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable."

"Beautiful resort, we enjoyed our stay. It is clean, elegant, and safe. Definitely worth a visit. The only complaint was no complimentary coffee station like we find at Marriott and Hilton hotels. Coffee maker in the room, but that doesn't do it for me. "

"The fridge wasnt keeping anything cold. The phone in the room wasnt even plugged in or connected to anything. There were holes in the walls. The sign in the room said any missing or damaged items would be reflected on the bill but there was no coffee maker or coffee or hairdryer or anything really. Some towels and an ice bucket. The laundry machines are coin operated but there's no change machine only an atm. At least the ac worked but I've paid the same price at other places and had much better experiences. The bed was comfy but other than that I don't think ill be returning to this location again no matter the price."

After trying several nearby hotels at similar or higher price points, I keep coming back—for one simple reason: this place genuinely moves people. I will absolutely return. "
