"My stay was disappointing. Drove in to our neighbors blasting music and it was 12 am. Had to request front desk to ask them to turn the music down. Left with both arms being bitten up by bed bugs and having an allergic reaction. Horrible experience and would not recommend."
"This was my first time staying in Tulsa. Went to the WWE event. The staff was friendly. Parking was good. My only complaint was the way the shower was setup in the bathroom. Was a little small but that's ok. Enjoyed my stay there. Beds were comfortable as well."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Glenpool-Tulsa South by IHG
6/10 Okay
"When we booked our room, we specifically booked it because of a third member of the family coming with us so the hide-a-bed couch was a must. There were no bedding for the sofa bed. I had to go back to the desk and request it, to which they handed me a clear bag with the sheets, comforter and pillow in it.
Also, the room’s bathroom door would close but not latch. That was annoying. Lastly, there were two rolls of toilet paper both of which were over half used. Luckily, we brought our own. The third floor hall creaked like it was an old hard wood floor under the carpet. It’s a shame to pay today’s prices and get this kind of value. The young lady at the desk when we checked in was very courteous and helpful."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tulsa Downtown/Route 66
8/10 Good
"Very clean and well appointed. The walls are thin, as are the pillows. Bring your own pillows able maybe put on some white noise, though, and you'll have a pleasant night's sleep."
"We stayed in the Elwood suite which had its charm but wasn't without a sticky mess on the booth of the dinner table and another on a smaller sitting stool in the bathroom. Right at check in the employee who greeted us was anti eye contact and was more worried about finishing up his required spiel than actually assisting. Or informing us of anything. There is not really a spa in the hotel. It is a short walk across the street and through a parking lot. Entering the old building there is no direction and dark. Likely to turn you away out of fear or concern just to return to the front desk for help. It didn't help that twice we were reminded by others that this building was recently section 8 housing and a drug hotspot. The floors are all bare concrete with small rugs every so often. The plants are all fake that we could tell. This hotel is far from luxury and far from what they portray through marketing. The room was 300 dollars and the amenities were something out of a crappy highway side motel. Just stay somewhere else because they are not what they represent themselves as. Hospitality? Barely on a good day."
