"The restaurant was closed. We were unaware. Front desk said it just happened. After doing some research, I found online it’s been closed since November but would be good to make that clear when booking. Maintenance people blocking the driveway. Noise of construction plus workers’ music playing early. Not good. Front desk staff sat in phones nonstop and ate food behind the desk in plain sight. Really unprofessional and terrible for what presented itself as upper end."
"We found a bedbug in my bed, after it bit my fiancee, reported it to management, and they tried to make it seems like i was lying after showing them evidence of the bite on my fiancee and the actual bug itself caught on video..I will never rent a room again there. I will definitely not encourage anyone to go there."
"There is one outdoor for the entire resort- it was way overcrowded and hard to get service- we asked for 2 hours from 2 different servers- who would just keep walking past and avoiding eye contact.
We choose here to enjoy the amenities, pool side experience while some
Of the family golfed. We definitely had higher expectations.
The course is stunning but at $250 per, it’s very overpriced to not be able to choose the course you want.
The rooms are stunning- even tho it’s a gold resort, we were not able to take a golf cart for the day for the resort use, which was odd to me. When I checked in ( they said it was 35/day, then when I called- the rep asked around for approx 35 mins and then said no- the suites do not get cart access.
Beautiful scenery. I did expect way more the costs.
The suites should include a pull out couch, have extra towels. Since the room only offers 2 doubles. With the size of the rooms, queens or kings would have been a better fit. In my opinion."
"They are under construction so it’s pretty rough right now. Room was not ready at check-in and then it was the wrong room type but the staff worked hard to make things right. This will be a great hotel when all the work is done."
"Very standard, budget feeling hotel overall. We were given a room that had not been cleaned (ew!) and they didn’t have the same room available elsewhere so we went to dinner while they cleaned it. When we checked in for the second time, they offered us a late checkout and a free item each for the inconvenience. That was nice, but for a prepaid room that was not available when we arrived… I feel like they could have done better. Breakfast was not great but not terrible… vanilla. Worst thing… connection for Roku was a nightmare… had to spend time on the phone with their tech support to get it working - never had that happen before! And it wasn’t a fluke because they had the tech support info right there! 😂"
"The resort was better than expected! My grandkids loved it! The room was clean and cozy! There are restaurants just down the street a few minutes away in downtown Lake Geneva!"
