Property has a great beach compared to many in Maui. Rooms are very nice with wonderful views. Landscaping is beautiful. Front desk was quick and helpful. Property doesn’t have a good functioning restaurant. This has been an ongoing issue with this hotel. Luckily, there are many good restaurants within walking distance. This hotel has also put in a nice coffee bar where you can get some good breakfast sandwiches and danishes in the morning at reasonable prices.

This is a beautiful property. We booked the Ocean view Moana room, it was pricier than the regular ocean view room but worth it. You get an unparalleled views of the ocean, you can see ocean from almost every corner of the room and can smell and hear the ocean sounds. The part of the ocean the room faces does not have beach access that makes the Lanai private. The housekeeping is excellent and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The front desk staff was equally good. We had a loud neighbor and requested a room change, the front desk changed the rooms promptly and were apologetic. There is no lazy river but the pool is lazy river-ish and nice. There are free morning yoga classes and fitness center. The bar at the hotel has sunset music and beautiful views. The brunch at Coral reef restaurant is not to be missed. We will come back to Sheraton!

Great Stay but Expensive
Resort was very nice but pricey! Pros: 1. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily 2. Bathrooms also spacious and great shower head. 3. Beach/Black Rock was awesome. 4. Resort offered all types of amenities. 5. Short walk to Whaler’s Village (restaurants and shopping). 6. Short drive to Front Street (Restaurants and Shopping) 7. Older hotel but still nice. 8. Grounds were nice. Cons: 1. Expensive, Self Parking should be free for hotel guests. 2. Gym was way too small for a resort of this size. Needs total overhaul and moved to a more centralized/larger room. 3. Only 1 beach shower to wash sand off… Needs more!! 4. Restaurants and bars are too expensive, take the short walk to Whaler’s Village for better options. 5. For the nearly $50 a day resort fee, more things should be included, like beach chairs/umbrellas, floats, snorkeling gear, parking, etc. Overall - Would definitely stay again
