The made never clean he sheets on the beds they just straighten the covers in put them back on. The guy at the first desk is rude. I waited 30 minutes to a hour to even get checked into the room.

This property is terrible. Grimy. The lighting in the room didn’t work. There were extension cords to table lamps that were a fire hazard. I asked for a quiet area and I was put next to a room that had a gathering that has excessive noise all through the night until 7 am. There was a domestic dispute as well. I called to the. Front desk multiple times to get them to stop the noise. Multiple times no one answered leaving me to deal with it myself. Unacceptable. I got zero sleep. I went to the desk to check out and demanded my money back it was so bad. The lady behind the counter clearly was unable to address it and blew it off to the “manager” who was to be in at 10 am. I left my name, phone number and he was supposed to call. No call. Crickets. Pathetic hotel. I would never recommend this hotel. Worst Econolodge I have ever visited and is a bad mark on the econolodge Brand. Terrible management

Rude staff. No breakfast. My door didn’t even lock! Sketchy people hanging around outside. Renovations going on—lots of banging and slamming. Piles of mattresses, bed frames, garbage, grocery carts all over outside.

To start things off, after driving a big crane for 12 hours, I was tired but like to wind down. Get in my room and stains on bed, towels and the TV did not work! Unacceptable and expect a refund for such a shiity hotel!

This place was in very bad condition. The whole place smelled. You are greeted in the lobby by many Out of Order signs on breakfast bar and adjoining bathroom. There are bed sheets covering things up. While I was surprised that our room had a loveseat, fridge, and microwave, the room was dirty. There were noticeable crumbs on the floor and our socks were filthy from walking on the carpet. There was no Kleenex in the room. We were given 3 bed pillows of various sizes. all ver flat. There was a cigarette burn in our blanket. Staying during parents weekend at Purdue. Paid 5 times normal pricing which was crazy for what we got.

This is not a good hotel to go to and I’m not sure y Expedia give them such a high rating .. staff was not pleasing except for 2 people on the whole staff( lady that works mornings and fella that works nights). They never change sheets or towels unless u take them down to exchange if not they will use the sheets from night before. Police was involved in the parking lot a lot .do yourself a favor and skip this place ik they cheaper than other hotels In Lafayette but it’s not worth it . No breakfast , staff, clean environment, the charge 100$ cash for incidentals.. this place is a rip off

Never Staying at Econo Lodge Again
Upon check in I was given a card with a sticky note, no WiFi explanation or any information about breakfast. Not a big deal, but a skip of customary things that go on to paint my stay. On my floor several of the service items (ice machine) were broken. The entire floor smelled of smoke and there were cigarette burn marks on my sheets. The toilet seat was broken and my fiancé nearly fell off when she sat down to use the facilities. The shower did not work. The water would run for 30 seconds and then just drizzle out while I waited five minutes for another 30 seconds so I could rinse off. Two lamps did not work in the room as well. If someone had trashed the place in the stay before then it was barely noticed and left for what ended up being one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had.
