"We stayed here on the last day of a week-long bike trip to the Lac St. Jean/Saguenay region. Didn't really use any of the amenities, as it was chilly & rainy that evening & we didn't use the pool, drink at the bar, or dine at the resto. Staff were courteous & the room was great, bed was very comfortable. I'm not sure the benefit of the river view from the 2nd floor balcony was worth having to lug our heavy luggage up one flight of stairs (there is no elevator option). There is a nice indoor/outdoor tiki bar overlooking the river, serving as a magnet for young folk on a Friday night, but that's not our jam & it apparently never occurred to the DJ spinning tunes till 10 p.m. that some guests might not enjoy the loud music instead of getting some rest. Not sure I'd recommend this motel over places in downtown Chicoutimi, to be honest."
