La Roche-des-Arnauds Trip

For a room labelled "deluxe" - expectations were not met. Furnishings had peeling/chipped vaneer, surfaces and under the bed were very dusty. There was a constant noise in the ceiling. Like a ball bearing dropping every 10 seconds or so. We mentioned it at the front desk - it stopped momentarily before starting up again for the rest of our stay. Front desk service was minimal.

No issues. Nice property, good location, attentive staff. Only knock is that the family suite has some very sharp edges that are eye-level for kids and had us worried. Throw some corner protectors on those and it’s a very reasonably sized and comfortable launching point for exploring Manhattan.

Location was perfect and the room was very clean and modern. All staff were excellent and very helpful.

Everyone on staff was helpful, accommodating and always smiling! We truly enjoyed staying here.

The staff and lobby are great, but the rooms and hallways need some TLC. They’re a bit run down and very different from the lobby.
