The heater blower in our room started to squeal loudly, management instantly gave us another room. Owners of motel did an excellent job of taking care of us and we will be back.

The furnishings were nice and the location was convenient. Parking was well lit and I felt secure. The WIFI was down. The phone service to the front desk was down. We needed a down stairs room and there was no way to communicate our needs for that prior to booking. We had a large group meeting in LaGrange and many booked elsewhere because of the communication issue. They did not clean the rooms or make up the rooms day to day so we had to use the same towels over and over. The ice machine was broken and the floors were filthy. I wear white socks and in 2 minutes after my shoes were off the soles of my socks were black with dirt, they never mop the floors...never. The desk clerk was nice if you could find her. If you do not mind those issues you will probably enjoy staying there.

no phone ssrvice and there is little provision made to plug in an extension cord to service boat batteries for fisherman. the only way we can stay with you all is to sqeeze the electric cable under the door to our room. many motels and resorts provide outside outlets for fishermen guests!! just a few such outlets would make many guests much happier!!!
There was no Internet the phone in the room didn’t work to call the front desk. Plus it was filthy and had a pubic hair on it and we need ed ice. They said they had no ice but when I went back to my room there were men taking ice out of the top of the ice machine? The reason I needed the ice is because my sister was stung by a scorpion. Toilet seat and door knob for bathroom. We’re both loose. And there was no breakfast only coffee was served which I don’t drink also when I use the key, it didn’t work so I had to go back up to the front because the phone didn’t work and I couldn’t find the phone number for the place online but the manager up there was very nice and got us new key and came down with it.

It is nothing fancy. We knew that going in. The whole facility needs a good cleaning, but our main complaint is that someone came into our room while we were gone with the do not disturb sign on the door. They did not clean the room. We did not notice anything missing other than towels that they did not replace. No one should have entered that room for any reason!!
Staff great! Although cleaners could have ended up with an eyefull since they ignored the do not disturb sign as we were getting ready to leave that morning. Nice little place. Could update the bedspreads, but that and no ice in the ice machine is really the main improvements to make.
I had to pay an outrageous amount of money because of availability for a room that was not acceptable at best. It had paint peeling off the walls and a roach in the bathroom. Tv paused every 30 seconds and was told that was cloud cover affecting DIRECTV. Not cloudy. Yelling outside from ???? All of this for $180 a night. Not acceptable. Please make this right.

Cheap and Comfortable
We stay here for the economical price and the cleanliness of a low comfort low price hotel. We had issues this time with a broken toilet that was never fixed even at our request so we were manually putting water in the tank for 3 days. New owners are slowly improving everything and look forward to that. It’s a true trucker and one night stay hotel but it’s comfortable and rooms are large. We are only there for evening after a work day, so sleeping, showering, relaxing time.
This place is pretty run down. No hot water at the sink. Bugs in the bathroom light fixture. We had to get maintenance to come fix the TV and replace a light bulb. They have coffee in the lobby but no breakfast.
Staff friendly and efficient. The room was no dirty but not the cleanest, no hand towels no wash rags. There were dead roaches in bathroom light fixture and roach poop on the wall. No smoke detector. On the postive side well insulated for noise.

The manager and staff were very courteous and professional. My room was spotlessly clean too!
Staff could not find reservation and payment but took care of us and gave us a room while they researched the issue. Clean rooms and property but limited parking for the number of guests staying and this was during the week. May have been to the party being held at the bbq area across from our room.
We have stayed here once before and were pleased. We were, again, happy with our stay. I love that there is no carpet. The rooms are nicely painted and clean. The beds are very comfortable. I couldn't figure out how to work the microwave for that midnight snak but ate it cold instead. It was quiet and we felt safe. Front desk very courteous.

This hotel is good for traveling workmen. The hotel felt dated 1960's and the room was musty. On the side was two mattresses thrown near a dumpster and a metal container with bullet holes, like target practice. We spent 3 minutes in the room and my husband had such a bad feeling about this place that we left. There was a hotel nearby with the same price with clean and fresh rooms, breakfast bar and coffee for the same price.
Per description on Expedia should have had laundry, not working, supposedly had coffee and tea, no tea.
Room was dark. No privacy if drapes were open.
Also Expedia said it’s one story, it’s is 2 story.
You attendant always said, "I guess or I'm not sure" there's no working vending machine and if you check in and return to the office you may find yourself waiting until the hear a door chime which not all doors have even if you say "hello or anyone there?" but as a disabled person, they really need to get bigger and higher toilets. it seemed like those were for kids.

Its an okay place and a good value for La Grange. The gentleman at the desk was incredibly helpful!
