We assumed it was because we didn’t check in within the hour timeframe given, even though we rung the host to explain beforehand. "We loved the hotel. We arrived late but, in the morning, we had a lovely surprise - looking out of our window we saw a very beautiful tranquil setting - the lovely River Selune flowing by the hotel and wildflowers, long grasses, and ancient buildings. The hotel room was clean and spacious, breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very accommodating. We would highly recommend the hotel."

"This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. My partner and I had such a great time staying at the Château. It is a beautiful old castle-style boutique hotel located on a hill overlooking beautiful fields with forest all around. There were birds everywhere. The entire place was decorated with 17 century paintings and other decor that really made you feel like royalty. The breakfast was a lavish presentation with baskets of fresh bread and coffee in fine silver pots, which added to the experience. This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed, and I would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting a romantic getaway."
