Beautiful property, great views of the volcano from the restaurant and walking paths to villas. Pool water is nearly hot tub warm, very relaxing. Grounds are well maintained and people are very pleasant, loved our stay.

Our room was great. We had separate beds in the room for the kids. It was central to all activities in La Fortuna and the breakfast buffet is delicious along with the pool and the poolside bar. A great spot if you need a comfortable hotel as a home base for all of the activities in La Fortuna

This was our second stay at the Hotel Mountain Paradise, and it was just as good as we remembered! The two-bedroom villa is spacious and a great way to relax for a family of 5. We loved the plunge pool and views and enjoyed breakfast. Great location, close to town and a lot of the activities we wanted to try. It was much busier the second time round and while the main pool is lovely and warm, more chairs are needed. When we tried to visit all chairs were occupied and we had to leave our towel and belongings on a nearby rock.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, wonderful free breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel is close to many area attractions and hot springs resorts. The heated thermal pool and swim up bar was very enjoyable. Melena at the pool bar made great drinks and always had a friendly smile.his was my first visit to Costa Rica but most definitely not be my last!

Highly recommend – a truly wonderful experience! This property is very well maintained, with super comfy beds that made for great sleep every night. It was an amazing experience overall! I highly recommend this hotel, the staff was very helpful in helping us get a private shuttle to our flight home. They sent us off with food at 5am in the morning and things lined up perfectly. Waking up to the sounds of animals was a really nice experience and the breakfast was a great way to get loaded up with energy. The hotel is close to go adventure park which was a really great professional place. Zip lining and horse back riding there was amazing.
