"Nice stay, historic surroundings."

"Friendly staff. Great value "

"Charming hotel, but the rooms are showing some wear, especially the bathroom. Good bed and hot shower. "

"Ideal location for overnight stay with good access to main roads. Rooms are small and dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Bon dejeuner"

"Great hotel for a stopover when travelling south"

"Lovely clean comfortable lodge with everything you need for a relaxing stay "

"Everything was so good, amazing views and great hospitality."

"Very clean and welcoming comfortable bed, nice shower would recommend "

"Wow!! What can I say? What a beautiful charming B&B. I have to admit, I was curious/concerned about such an old facility but given the recent renovation/remodel, job well done. Everything has been updated, (fixtures, windows, etc). The owner is extremely welcoming and accomodating. Not a day goes by, now that we're home, that we miss waking up at Le Clocher de la Duchesse. "A reasonable place to crash for one night, like a Motel 6 in the US, but not a place to stay for vacation."

"Breakfast was good. External spiral staircase access to the room was too challenging to take a heavy case up, so had to just take the things I needed and leave rest in the car."

"This is more like a nice hostel. It was clean and quite spacious given typical European sizes, but my room had a dorm vibe. It felt like student accommodation, but it was fine and cheaper than other places. Had air-conditioning too which was great. Just not at all fancy."

"Ideally situated place with amenities close by, simple but good, I would stay again"

"Stayed a number of times - convenient location, well managed, good restaurant. Now even better following refit and addition of a Spa facility. Stayed in a new Superior Room. Very spacious and nicely fitted. Lovely bed. Cannot recommend highly enough."

"Very comfortable hotel in a very pleasant location. Parking is in the public plaza across from the hotel, very convenient"

"Very nice hotel with a very good service."

"Room was nice and town was cute, but pictures of property are a bit misleading, Wi-Fi didn’t work and host was a bit abrasive "

"Very good, the receptionists are friendly, attentive and very helpful people."

"The view from the bedroom was stunning. A lovely quiet place. Good car park. A restaurant next door."
