"Having had to pay for parking to check in at the named hotel, we then travelled to the apartment. On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean. "Good, simple hotel on the edge of the historic portion of Chartres. 10 Mins walk takes you to the Catherdral Quiet hotel, under cover carpark (we booked in advance with Onepark). One issue was with the shower where the temperature varied throughout a shower, but not a major gripe."
