We arrived late and were greeted with a friendly welcome. We also had to leave early in the morning and staff made the check in an out process quick and easy. The beds were a welcome comfort after a long flight.

Great first night on my trip to Costa, hired a car and found it very quickly. Parking outside and on the street so no issues. Lovely big room, great shower and lovely gardens to the rear. Housekeeper was was there to bake warm croissants in the morning and make coffee. I was offered eggs and fresh fruit too. Great value. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely boutique-style built run hotel. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. We only stayed a night to break a long journey prior to flying out of SJO the following afternoon, but there's plenty to do in the area and it would make a great base if staying a little longer. Very comfortable beds, it was one of our best nights sleep of our trip! We had dinner in Alajuela, about 10 mins drive away with loads of choice, and went back to the town to kill a couple of hours the next day...

I had an excellent stay at the Canal Grande Lodge. The staff were wonderful, really friendly and helpful and the hotel was spotless with large spacious rooms. It also had a lovely outdoor space with a pool and amazing views. A good option for those who are looking to stay close to San Jose airport but away from the busy streets of San Jose.

One of the most amazing hotels - unique and beautiful. The staff go beyond to make your stay pleasant, the rooms are incredible. Being able to sleep at the foot of a vulcano in the midst of an animal sanctuary is a dream. Only down side is the a la carte breakfast which considering it was more than $65 for three could have been improved.

Massive room which was perfectly clean. Great location, handy to the airport. In the grounds of the hotel there are a number of shops and an excellent outdoor area which had comfortable seating, nice music and lots of really good quality food trucks offering everything from Thai to Indian to Cuban and more. Highly recommended for a relaxing evening with good food. Breakfast at AC is great but make sure you book with your room as it’s very expensive to pay at breakfast. Around £30 per person...

Perfect first night hotel after a long flight. The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us. The room was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Food at the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.
