When we arrived we were greeted by our host, shown our room which was large and had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, also with a sofa bed, patio doors onto a private balcony overlooking the mountains. There was no snow close by but we were assured it may snow anytime. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you

Easy check in and out, super clean, all very nice

A beautiful small hotel with outstanding views. Although it is up a steep hill, the hotel, although basic, is everything you need for a few days stay. The restaurant next door is very good, and used by touists and locals alike. If you are hiking, the hotel has lots of info on trails and is near the start of most main routes.

The two best things about Hotel Andalucia are the views (fantastic if you book a room with a view, through the Alpujarras to the sea) and the breakfast (which is probably the best 'free' breakfast I have ever had in Spain - and I've had quite a few). Whether you love the hotel itself depends on your attitude towards older establishments that used to be fairly 'grand', have gone down a bit in the world, but have character - and in this case are being brought back up to standard. This was our second stay at what is one of my favourite hotels. The location is perfect. The hotel is great. The staff are lovely. The food is amazing. What more could you ask for!
