L'Avenue

Breakfast is terrible.Table and chairs are dirty. Food is cold, not even lukewarm. Food sitting there at room temperature for hours. Hotel room is ok except some annoying cigarette odour from air conditioning occasionally at night . Have to turn off the air con to avoid the smell. Individual hotel staff is not friendly and helpful. When I checked out, I used credit card to pay. Somehow they have problem with the machine and I have no choice but to pay with WeChat. When I came home and check the bill, I realize that they overcharged me ( though not a lot but more than what it said on my Expedia booking !) Quite unorganized administration

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Really got nothing to complain about. The area was bustling with new amenities, quieter from the bund area. Even though travelling around will take some time but its ok for a relaxing stay.

The property is old with elegance. Beautiful garden. Housekeeper was very helpful and efficient. Will be back.
