Beautiful apartment in Northern Kyoto
The company gave us a lift to the accommodation the first night from their central cafe in Kyoto which was really helpful as if you don't know the area it could be hard to find alone in the evening. The accommodation was very clean and had all the basics you need. It is Japanese style accommodation with futon which suited us well but people not used to this need to check the details. It is a quiet residential area and sound travels between the apartments so not suitable for people who want late parties. Well positioned with shops and cafes nearby and good for buses and sightseeing.
Lovely base to explore Kyoto and surrounding areas; fully recommend, but make sure you get full details before travel if not Japanese.

Lovely Apartment Stay!!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely COTO apartment. The three of us were welcomed by very kind staff at the coffee house and transported to the apartment (perhaps because it was pouring!). Once there we settled into the apartment and found it was very easy access to temples in the area as well as to the bus line. When the weather cleared we used the bikes available to ride to the market and other local areas. The apartment seems brand new and is very clean with a lovely bath/shower area, traditional Japanese bedding, a washer, fridge and cooktop. We didn't cook much but enjoyed the space for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Lovely stay!
