Not a hotel from hell!

Good clean room bed could be a bit more comfortable. Still very good for the price. After reading the reviews thought i was coming to a hotel from hell but was not so bad. Only complaint is about the bed sofa bed was more comfortable. Other than that all was good.

Old towels, bad smell, bad wifi, but well located.

The hotel is very well located, in a great neighbourhood and very close to the main city sights. It is a very simple hotel, over firefighters station (gladly there was no emergency while we were there, so no sirene noise). The room is of a good size, with a fridge, microwave and most importantly a working air conditioner (it was extremely hot in the city). However, there was a foul smell coming out of the bathroom sink and the towels provided were the worst I've ever seen - VERY old and were falling apart - kind of disgusting. We thought about buying a pair of towels for ourselves, but did not do as supermarkets were mostly closed. The room was also not particularly clean and the wifi kept crashing. Finally, the hotel has very little else to offer. Overall, a poor experience.

Pour dépanner une nuit.

Appart hôtel. A mon arrivé, la réceptionniste m'a demandé de payer en CASH la totalité de mon séjour. Soit 7.600 gryvna ! Qui se balade avec plus d'un mois de salaire ukrainien ? Heureusement que j'avais pris de l'argent à un distributeur. Finalement, je n'ai payé que 1.200 gryvnas en cash pour l'aller-retour du taxi. Certainement une histoire de commission entre l'hôtel et le chauffeur. Car avec UBER cela ne coûte que 900. Le reste en carte bancaire. Hôtel vétuste. Pas d'ascenseur. Chambre très passable. Lit totalement défoncé et qui grince dès que vous bougez. Dos en vrac dès la première nuit. Multiples tâches sur le sofa. Télécommandes TV défectueuses. Les mêmes couverts pendant 4 jours. Mais pas de cuillères ! Insonorisation mauvaise. Bruit du frigo insupportable la nuit. Ampoule salle de bain défectueuse. Lavabo minuscule. Je ne recommande pas.

Sorry to give a very negative review

I arrived at 1 am after a 12 hour train journey or would not have stayed at all. The bathroom stunk, the bed was lumpy, the TV was blurry, the radiator was not working so heat (adequate) came from an electric space heater. The room was on the 4th floor without an elevator. The whole place was devoid of charm. The morning desk clerk spoke no English. Not worth the cheap price for the good location. Was booked for 3 nights, checked out after 1. Hotels.com refunded 2 nights immediately and booking an affordable much better hotel in Kiev was easy.

A decent and central stay for a decent price

A perfectly ok hotel fairly centrally located for a decent price. You get what you pay for, it's not top of the line but with a comfy bed, daily cleaning, 24/7 front desk = all your basic needs met. Wifi was not the best with several alternatives with different spelling coming up, and when asking the front desk about it they did not seem to understand the issue with potential fraud/scam. The building has no elevator, so be prepared to walk up several flight of stairs. The area is ok, right next to a fire station. About 500 m to the closest subway station, along fairly busy main roads (with restaurants, corner stores and other services available).

Hotel?! Tja, Pustekuchen)) Kein Kleiderschrank, 1 Stuhl für 2 Personen! Das Bad!!! So was muss man erleben: Schimmel in der Duschkabine und im Wasserablauf, Haare an den Duschwänden... Dreck, Dreck... Teppichboden im Flur und Polstersessel im Zimmer mit riesigen Flecken (anscheinend Kotze ). Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Das Einzige Gute - die Lage vom "Hotel" . Wenn man das so nennen darf .

Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig, die Duschen neu renoviert. Einzig der Elektroofen auf Rollen für die Beheizung des Zimmers war ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es war zu heiss oder zu kalt. Insgesamt aber ein nettes Hotel an guter Lage. Den Preis auf jeden Fall wert.

Hotel in oud appartement, 3 verdiepingen. Geen lift. Fijn en vriendelijk ontvangst, beide receptionisten die ik heb gezien spraken goed Engels. Gang zag er wat uitgeleefd uit maar de kamer was prima. Alles was aanwezig. Waterkoker, Magnetron, servies. Goede wifi, Fijne douche, goed bed. Dicht bij de universiteit en de metro is in de buurt en 15 minuutjes lopen naar t centrum. 10 muniten met de taxi naar t treinstation en 5 minuten (zonder file) naar t vliegveld. Ik was er maar 1 nacht en was een prima keuze

Experience and Tips You Should Follow

Was mostly disappointed by this hotel and wish I had stayed elsewhere (Not family friendly, definitely not romantic, and only adequate if you're a backpacker or don't mind traveling rough- hostel style). First of all the pictures are nothing like the real thing. The service is terrible especially if you don't speak the language. Out of the 4-5 receptionists that were there during different shifts only one could speak understandable English and was polite. The rest have no patience and can't be bothered to help you with most requests. I had to run several times down to reception to ask for toilet paper and to have the rubbish taken out of my room (Your room will not be cleaned if you don't ask)If you ring them they will ask you to come to the desk- so what's the point of the phones??? When I asked for shampoo and soap I was charged for these tiny packets that barely have anything inside. You only get a few in your bathroom so make sure and pack enough toiletries. During the summer it can get very hot so first thing make sure your air con unit works and if it doesn't ask to change rooms immediately. You will suffer greatly even with a window open. You will get standard physical keys so don't forget these and make sure your door is locked properly at all times. I had a few instances where a woman kept opening my door while I was in the room- couldn't be bothered to knock. Good thing you're not too far from the city. Alright have a great trip!

Lage und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind Ideal

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und der Strassenlärm ist kaum höhrbar. Die Lage ist sehr Zentral und es gab in der einen Woche wo ich in dem Hotel war auch keinen nennenswerten Feuerwehreinsatz. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für Kiev sehr gut. Einziger Nachteil, in dem Hotel ist kein Lift vorhanden,was für mich als kräftigem Mann aber uninteressant war.
