Very clean room, confortable. Friendly staff. Really could have used a desk while I was there. Also, the room layout was a bit awkward. I know it is a converted apartment, but they could have done better. Never was able to get the TV to work. However, it was a very nice and comfortable place. Probably one of the best views in the entire city though.
I loved the view and how accessible and close to major city attractions it was. Plus it's on top of a very nice coffee shop. The staff were very nice also.
The staff. Eygenia and Julia were fantastic. The rooms are very nice and big. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The staff English was much appreciated. I had Julia call Vino e Cucina and make me a reservation. I wish there was a breakfast service other than City Zen. There is coffee, tea soda and water to buy at the front desk which is a little limited for a hotel concessions. Overall a great stay and services at a great price

1 night stay at the heart of Kiev
Stayed for 1 night in July 2019. It was difficult to find in side inner yard. Reception was helpful, quick check-in. Had drinkable water and teaset ready to use, that I appreciated. Great view from window (11th floor allows you to see temples and partly the river). Really a few minutes walk to the major sightseeings. Okayish Asian café nearby and plenty other food points (and supermarket).
On the negative side: rather old interior, kind of apartment reconstructed for a hotel room, bad smell in bathroom

Ok place
Small and very convenient hotel in the very city center. It's rather good but some refurbishment would make it even better
GREAT VALUE. GREAT LOCATION. THE MAIN ROOM IN THE PICTURE *DID* HAVE SOME NOISE FROM THE BELOW BUSINESS' MACHINES. BUT....WAS STILL GOOD

It was difficult to find this hotel, on the positive side there was a very nice cafe next to it and the view was beautiful. Staff was pleasant however the bathroom did not smell good and curtains were in need of replacement. The bed was not comfortable, over all the room looked much better in pictures than it did in reality. I am very happy I did not have to stay there for more than one night, especially because on the day I was supposed to leave the room smelled like a sewer and it made me feel sick, I was very happy to leave but I did appreciate the giant tub and nice view.
The room was different to that in the picture
The sheets were torn
Had to wait an hour for their airport shuttle at the airport and no apology or compensation
The safe and Tv and air con didn't work and wasn't sorted even when I asked for them to be seen
I didn't create a fuss as I was only there for two nights
The only good thing was the view from the terrace
I wouldn't rate it as 4 star more like 3 or even 2 and there was no one around when u called
Too expensive for a room that was supported to be 4 star but wasn't
And it is not in Central Kiev it is a long walk which is ok in good weather but not in the rain or snow
Lovely staff and place to visit but this apartment was rated 4 star, it definitely was not. Bed was uncomfortable and room facilities basic and poor quality. Enjoyed my stay but not due to the room. Staff could not have been kinder or more friendly, thank you.

OK for the price
Its a good location and amazing view. But its in need of some renovation and TLC, my TV worked intermittently, the table lamp blew twice and the general décor good do with a update. The staff are very helpful, but being on the 11th floor of an office block its quite difficult to find the entry
I stayed there for two nights and the first night the AC was out in the room I stayed in. So, not a pleasant night. The second night, I got a room with AC and was fine. The hotel has a nice view. Getting into the building can be tricky since it is inside the courtyard or a building that doesn't look like anything you would expect. There is a small sign on the outside for the hotel. Then you have to get into the room with elevator to get to the 10th floor.
I found some of the staff to be very helpful, as well as fluent in English. Some of the staff were somewhat unfriendly, but the staff that was awesome, more then made up for this.

The location of this hotel is really good. The staff is really friendly. It is a little difficult to locate as there are no signs leading to it. It is based on a 11th floor in one of the buildings. The views are gorgeous. We could see
Visited the place on a stopover for one night. The place has clearly seen its best days quite some while ago. The heating was not on and the rooms were almost as cold as outside. Additionally the place looked really worn out and the cleaning if it was done was quite superficial. Cannot really recommend and can't understand the "high" score of previous visitors.
Terrible sewage smell in the bathroom. Dirty-ish walls. You could hear every sound outside of the room: it was particularly noisy in the morning as the staff was delivering breakfasts.
Ok but be careful your computer abd sure your computer take it with you but I did not they try to check what is inside and luck I have none and also pass word protect so this the only bad about it other Ok
This hotel is located in center of Kiev. It's a little hard to find the entrance to this hotel. There some hand made signs on the walls of the main building. Although this hotel is located on 11th floor, the elevator gets you only to 9th floor. Then you have to use stairs. Be patient, they said that they will fix it.
Great design idea but poorly executed. slippery tile on the floor, not enough light in the bathroom, missing light covers, very old and ripped robes, cheep matrass, broken elevator, B&B type lobby.
On the bright side, room had large windows, balcony, large shower and Jacuzzi
It's only good for location. The srevice was almost unavailable. I stayed for 4 nights, on the very first day I asked the receptionist to change a bulb in the bathroom which was out of order, but they never did, even though kept promising to do so each day. The breakfast was very simple and delivered to room only.
I wanted to stay at a different place in Kiev this time and decided to try Apart Hall.
The hotel is inside a building and there are no obvious signs outside to indicate where the entry is located. The building itself is a huge complex and houses different businesses. So unless you have the address written in Ukrainian/Russian, it may be hard to find it on your own.
The good thing is that it is within walking distance of the city center and lot of attractions.
The plusses of the place are that the place is clean and quiet with a good view of the city. The rooms are on the 11th floor of the building.
The negatives are that, the rooms do not have individual air conditioning. There are also no restaurants or room service in the hotel. The staff speaks broken English and you can get by.
Overall, it was ok but I will not use it again.

WiFi - AWFUL
Service - leaves much to be desired. We were told we would have to pay for half of a night to check in an hour early, even though the room was already ready. I've never had this happen, even in expensive NYC. Our first morning we were charged for coffee (a relatively expensive rate considering the prices in Kiev and Ukraine) and the other mornings we received coffee for free. Makes me wonder who the money for the coffee from the first morning went to...
Breakfast - tiny. Definitely not enough for a man
Neighborhood - great, close to the art district
Room Quality - the curtains only covered half of the window, so we woke up every morning with the sunrise at 4:30 a.m. The couch was falling apart so our room was covered in white "dust" from it.

Mini-hotel, not apartment. Misleading brand name
I stayed again in Room 8, which is business class. Still, even after two months, my complaints to the management about fixing the phone were not acted upon. The typical hotel receptionist there only knows basic English and takes multiple repetitions to fix a non-elementary problem. So they are not reliable as a concierge desk as in a grown-up 3-star hotel. I would rate this affordable place as 2.5-stars by USA standards. However, Anna was fantastic and patient, as she is studying hotel management. However, sadly Olga often interrupts, does not listen fully, and smirks through serious matters.
Room 1 had a putrid smell emanating from the collection cup below the drain of the shower. That smell filled the whole room and almost made me vomit each time I had to open the bathroom door to use the toilet or the sink. Even after daily cleanings, that source of the smell remained. The entry door of Room 1 in was very sticky for the key each time. Beware: in Ukraine, like Mexico, the tap water is not potable for drinking, even for the natives.
Into room, sat on bed,bed fell to floor. I'm only 200lbs. Was in room less than 5 minutes and they refused to refund my money! I took my loss and went to a beautiful hotel, then no issues!!!!!!!!!!
