Stayed at the hotel a few times now, but only for short stays. it is good value for money andwell placed, short walk into Kuta. Good breakfast Parking is limited if you are using a car

We were looking for a quiet break. We achieved that. This Hotel is well located with a number of outlets within 5 minutes waking. Service from staff and team was absolutely outstanding, very happy with the pool. Only real downside was the mattress in the room. Apart from this, everything would have been excellent.

The desk staff were very helpful and allowed us in the room early. The pool was great the water soft and nice shade for sitting. For a low cost hotel it was great value for money, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom.

The staff and management are fantastic. However, the property is not like the photos they have on Expedia or anywhere else. The property is in need of an update and more maintenance as it is looking very tired and unkept. The pool area is very disappointing. The manager was very obliging however in giving me an upgrade to their sister hotel Bali Rani for a reasonable cost which was 100 times better.

Rani Hotel and Spa was comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located to the airport and shopping Rani is well priced and a restfull stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is great if you are on a tight budget and not wanting to spend big bucks. Pool is a decent size for a boutique hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly with perfect English.

The Staff are always all cheerful and provide great service.Mr Agus on reception was brilliant and very helpful during our stay. The rooms are overdue for some refurbishment and the bath tubs should be removed and showers etc upgraded.Very nice breakfast.

Nothing nice to say! get there and can't us pool as it was green and told we can walk to sister hotel Bali Rani - that would be great but what about when you get back you are just as hot! Every time to you in and our of room the keyless entry fails, the safe had to be replaced, air conditioner broke, the shower head didn't work and we got it replaced and still didn't work, Mosquitos really bad in the room! Never stay there again, most disliked hotel in Bali ever!!

Hotel is very tired and needs some repairs and upgrades but otherwise clean. Hotel staff too polite with guests ignoring pool times and allowing after hours use. Several times during our stay partying in, and at pool was still going after 3am and nothing was done to stop it, disturbing for other guests as all rooms open on to the pool area.

The WiFi in the room doesn’t work and the bed is hard to sleep. When I called to get extra pillow they said they ran out of the pillow.... really....😒😒😒

Great location close to waterbom and discovery. Great staff and rooms clean and comfy. Some repairs needed to showers but all on all had a great stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE, when booking the Rani hotel make sure you book the one opposite the Dynasty Hotel, my 2 requests were direct access to the swimming pool (regretfully this did not exist as per there website) and I booked 6 months in advance requesting that all 4 rooms in the one booking which I paid for in advance, be together as my children were staying in them this was guaranteed, however all rooms were separate, not even one was together. Never stay in room 153, it has the worse bed I have ever tried to sleep on, the room is noisy as is close to road and all the hotel amenities, staff talking all hours of the night, we had to have the air-con fixed twice, the air-con thermostat was broken in another of our rooms, the breakfast was very ordinary, this is the 23rd time I have been to Bali and I would never stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel and close to amenities
This hotel is a lovely boutique hotel located very close to the Lippo Mall. Staff are very friendly and happy to assist any way they can. We stayed in a pool access room which was worth the extra money and as a bonus pool access rooms get a free mini bar (a few beers and soft drinks each day). The aircon is freezing cold and the bath rooms have baths which is great. The cleanliness of the room was not quite as I would have hoped with patches of mould here and there, the same dirty glass in the bathroom for the 10 days I was there (and it wasn’t me that dirtied it!), toothpaste splashed on the vanity and wall from a previous guest that were not cleaned and a bath drain that was partially blocked and not fixed properly when I alerted staff. I am not too fussy and happy to wipe down the bench myself but I would have expected clean glasses in the bathroom and that the bath drain was fixed where possible. Despite this, the hotel was great. The pool was the perfect temp and the hotel food was great. Plenty of variety at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again.

Worth your stay
We been staying for 7 nights at the Rani Hotel. Spacious room, cheap food, great helpful staff. Location wise , near to LipoMall where is supermarket,cinema and food court. Laundry shop, opposite the hotel $3.50 / kg for tourist and 0.60 cents for local. Highly recommended to stay here for budget travellers.

The Rani was passable, I came here on recommendation but I found some of the stuff friendly and approachable and others not so friendly and approachable. The cleanliness was good, rooms comfortable, location good, the breakfast was passable, overall room for improvement.

In the heart of everything with easy access
Rani Hotel is an adequate hotel in a fantastic location. All your needs are met at this hotel but do not expect luxury. Breakfast is tasty and pool is good - 1.2m deep so good for kids. Balconies overlook the pool. Shops directly across the road so don't have to go far. The hairdresser across the road is brilliant at what he does and 3 of the family members got good cuts. If you are travelling on a budget this hotel will provide for all your needs including disposable toothbrushes. The staff were extremely helpful with our late checkout and organizing cheap transport to the airport. Thanks Rani!

Good location but old hotel
We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and that was just "alright". The hotel itself was quite old and outdated, and the photos on expedia don't reflect the actual hotels state. It was probably great maybe 10 years ago, but now it needs some renovations. The bathroom was old and there was even some rust in the bath.! Also, the bed and pillows were way too hard for our liking and we didn't sleep so well. Otherwise, the air-conditioning was working well, and the breakfast and spas were good too. The hotel is right in the heart of Kuta, so we had everything near by.

Great little hotel.
This is our second time back. We used it as a stop over this time as it's a handy location. Staff are lovely, swimming pool easy access for that quick drop. The rooms are always clean and spacious.

Easy quick weekender
Good for a short trip stay, close to airport and central on Main Street of Kuta. Easy to walk everywhere. Basic buffet breakfast with street view. Pool has no gardens surrounding it. Def hotel not a resort. One day pool was closed for maintenance you can go to their other hotel about 10 mins away tho. And room aircon can be a bit inconsistent.

The staff was fixing the swimming pool pump at 4 in the morning, the noise from the pump and people talking disturbed my sleep.
