Clean rooms, free happy hour til 10pm, onsen and great views. As other reviews have noted, the room was dated circa 1983 but I liked the retro charm. Would stay again.

Fairfield by Marriott Wakayama Kushimoto
I had a really nice stay at the Fairfield. The staff there was very very helpful. The room was spacious, well maintained and had a small hot pot to geat water for coffee, tea or miso soup. You do not need soap or shampoo hecause it provided in the shower. There are a couple of restaurants nearby ...

Otonashi no Sato Wataze Onsen & Cottage
Awesome cottage. Great bathhouse. Swim in the river if you get a chance. Walk to hot springs. All free.
