"The rooms aren't fancy, but they are clean and comfortable (cheap and cheerful), and had everything I needed, including a few cable TV channels, reliable Wi-Fi connection, and good water pressure with plenty of hot water. I loved the location near the center of town, close to grocery stores and only a short drive to many wineries and other travel destinations. Good value for money. Regards."

"A very tiny kitchen that had as described, but we didn't use it for cooking but did use the BBQ. There was a very old A/C in loungeroom that didn't cope with the heat, we arrived in. (Bedroom had a new A/C.) The pool was nice to cool down in. In shower nowhere to place soap or shampoo etc, other than floor. Rooms setup as seen in photos but older than we expected. TV only had reception for a couple of hours then went to no signal. Flyscreen doors don't fully cover doorways. Their dogs did come up and bark at us while we were sitting outside. Location (situated on a well-graded gravel road) was good for what we wanted to do. "

"Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. "
