"This is not a five star hotel. In fact, it's barely a three star. It is far from the fort and up a long, bumpy road so when you arrive, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The staff earnestly tries to be helpful but they're clueless, slow and inefficient. I ordered a gin and tonic at lunch time and it came after I had finished my meal. "The property was very nicely placed very near to the Kumbhalgarh fort. There was arrangement for my driver to stay. The staff was polite and friendly. Chef made me some customised local cuisine. But THERE WAS A RAT IN MY ROOM"
