Toyoko Inn Kumamoto Ekimae
Good location close to train station & bus & tram stops Good breakfast tho a bit more space would be good. It did get crowded Minimal sound proofing. Trams outside were too loud & I was on the 15th floor. Bring ear plugs. Mattress too hard

This is an older hotel, traditionally run. You will interact with human beings checking in, checking out, etc. Western breakfast is mini ( very mini) omelets, French fries, decent coffee and weak orange juice.
