The directions are also unclear, even if you use googlemaps. The property is new and in great condition. However, there are things that could be better, especially the food. "The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."

"This stay truly exceeded my expectations! From the start, the team was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation from Colombo to the camp. Our driver even made a stop along the way for some delicious local coconut roti and curry, which was such a nice touch! The food throughout our stay was fantastic and beautifully prepared. And as someone who does NOT camp, I can honestly say these tents were perfect—luxurious, comfortable, and such a fun, unique experience. The game drives were another highlight. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure we had an amazing time. Everything was thoughtfully organized, and the entire experience felt special from beginning to end. 10/10 would recommend!"

Manager Nalin was extremely professional and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in and giving us an excellent tour of the clubhouse. Sarojini was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure our meals were served on time and that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Chef Shashi, Nalin, and Sarojini are truly valuable assets to this resort. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent food and outstanding service. We will definitely return!"

Property was very well maintained and conveniently located near Kiri vehera and Wadasity kanda. We had Sri Lankan style breakfast and it was delicious and came in generously large portions. Hotel arranged our Yala safari tour and were willing to pack our breakfast for the early morning trip. I highly recommend Kynrock hotel."

"My parents were there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and although we celebrated a little late, they had such a wonderful experience. Quoting my dad “The birthday arrangement was beautiful, the cake was lovely, and the famous DoubleTree cookie was the best. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both excellent, and the amenities were exceptional.” What really stood out to them was the warmth and attention to detail throughout their stay. My mum still can’t stop complimenting the food; my parents have travelled all around Sri Lanka and tried many different cuisines, so coming from them, that is actually really huge to hear! Next time I’m in Lanka, I already know where my first stop will be. 10/10 for such a great stay!"
