requested to stay at Pantai Regal Boutique Hotel a few doors away as the hotel is newer. Hotel in a shophouse surrounded by shops of every kind, coffee shops, fastfood, cafes, supermarkets, laundrymart, phone shops etc. Can pack light as you can get everything there. Most shops close at 10 pm so place is quiet at night. Check-in is fast but only at 3 pm. Staff friendly and helpful. 10 minutes drive from the airport and very near Telok Chempedak Beach. Clean bedsheets and towels but they look worn-out and no longer white. Good toiletries and tea and coffee but hot water easy access outside rooms. Wifi is free but very slow and TV channels not many choices and lagging. Parking is not free but easy to call for Grab.
