"Great service, older property wight in the center of everything"

"Overall a very pleasant stay. A few minor discrepancies with room service etc but nothing major. Rooms are quite dark, which makes it enchanting and in-keeping with the local architecture, but makes seeing a challenge haha Would recommend staying here "

"Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Great location, easy walk from train station with wheelie bags, and walk to town attractions. Our room was small but ideal as a place to put head down after big day walking. The staff were always friendly and always staff cleaning the main areas of hotel. The gym is small but adequate - cost euro 5 to use. The breakfasts seemed very popular and good value judging by the amount of people dining there from early in morning. All in all a really good budget hotel. The only negative is that there are roadworks happening outside so a little noisy and dirty but we were advised of that in an email prior to our arrival Would stay again if I re-visited Ghent. "Incredibly convenient hotel. You literally step out of your hotel onto the water front. You can see St Michaels Bridge from the doorway. We absolutely loved Gent and staying at this Marriott Hotel was the icing on the cake. Nothing to dislike."

"Everything was great! We didn’t eat at the restaurants nor use the spa. Our room was amazing! We were upgraded to a junior suite. Everything is immaculate. The hotel was conveniently located to all major sightseeing locations. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Great stay! Highly recommend!"
