I booked the hotel late for a ski trip with my kids. The hotel was lovely. Well adorned, spacious rooms. Hotel was very clean. Wellness centre was great - lovely Jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steam room. We had half board and the breakfast was big and varied Ate in the restaurant once - it was a little too trad German for my kids but was well cooked Staff are very friendly and helpful

Great hotel in the centre of Garmisch. 5 mins walk to main shopping and restaurant areas. Amazing views of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze, directly from our room. Good little indoor pool. Very friendly staff, wearing traditional dress. Bar prices quite reasonable. Half board has good breakfast buffet and three main meal choices (meat, fish, veg) soup dessert. Free minibar is true - you get beer and soft drinks most days. Parking very easy - €12 per day. The whole place feels...

Good breakfast selection for every taste, lovely spa, modern rooms, excellent views from hotel. Staff always helpful, looking forward to returning soon.

Fantastic hotel with a rooftop bar underneath the mountain,- the best hotel x

Lovely hotel in beautiful quiet village. Only 2 nights but very pleasant.

Absolutely amazing hotel, will be back.

The hotel staffs are so friendly. And the outdoor swimming pool is so beautiful.

A family hotel, run by people who combine professional competence with friendly care for their guests. It's notable that they have an active apprenticeship scheme to pass on their skills to a new generation. Having chosen to walk the 2 kms from the station in a light drizzle we arrived weary and damp some hours before the usual check-in time to be greeted by manager Andreas Griess who, while covering all the formalities with a light touch, made us feel welcomed as house-guests. Andreas, his...

Lovely hotel in Ettal village. Plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance. Very nice breakfast included. Convenient parking. Short drive to Linderhof, which was our reason for selecting the hotel.

Wow wow and wow! This place is amaaaazing!!!! From arriving in our hire car, we just knew this place and it's setting were going to be something special. A beautiful warm welcome from the girls on the front desk. Some complimentary delicious treats were offered to us on arrival! This hotel is very high on class and quality and the setting on the lakeside and amongst an amazing forest you can hike all around. The snowfall made it even more magical. The food was delicious. We ended up just...

Staff extremely friendly and helpful, room spacious enough and despite renovations going on in hotel, very quiet. No noise from the station either, even though it is only 2 mins walk away - easy even with suitcases. Food simple but very tasty. Lovely place - and when renovations are finished, we will come again to see the changes.

Fantastic place, located in near fishing pond and stunning view on the Zugspitze

The hotel was really relaxed and the size and temperature of the pool excellent. My fault, I did not note the rooms did not have AC and it was very hot. However, reception were helpful and provided fans which we really appreciated. The location was peaceful and we did not notice the sound of the trains. Our youngest struggled with the food a little but overall, the hotel is truly excellent and staff helpful.
