"This place was just okay. Get what you pay for with the cheaper room. Our code didnt work when we arrived so had to call in freezing cold and got a completely different one. Floor in room itself was gross if you wanted bare feet. Shower doesnt have proper drainage methods or even a lip to catch water so you essentially flood bathroom floor every shower. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra for a nicer room"

"Great location just next to everything walking distance in Reykjavík. Great value for the location and the amenities. The room was small, but quaint and very clean, just what I needed for a one night overnight stay. The staff were neutral at the front desk, but not necessarily inviting for conversation. The breakfast, though at additional charge was one of the best breakfasts that I had had while in Iceland. It is worth the value. The food, and the attentiveness of the wait staff was hands-down five stars."

"Room was clean. Staff were very pleasant. There was no sea view. There were shops nearby. Sleeping was a challenge. This is because the doors every room are locked using a standard lock and key. The doors themselves have no soundproofing capabilities at all. And the noise created when people are trying to access their rooms was truly remarkable. This would tend to happen late at night and very early in the morning making it difficult to sleep. For that reason alone, I would not use this hotel again."
