This was my first time staying at the Valia Hotel in Tokyo. I also stayed at the one in Osaka during my travel to Japan (2026). It is conveniently located near a train station, bus station, a major shopping mall, and theater. The room size was what I am used to back in the States. The staff were very helpful in answering questions and providing information as requested. The space was beautiful. I had requested an allergens free room, but I don't think it was since I had a hard time sleeping in the room. But, it could just have been the carpet. The airpurifier provided did help a little, but it was still a struggle. If you don't have a need for allergens free space, this hotel is for you!

Unclear policies until check in. website did not state you could not use public bathing or fitness suite if you have tattoos we was presented with this policy by the hotel at check in.
booking platform could not help to resolve this issue and cushomer service has also been poor with multiple emails a day from differrent people.
Tired looking hotel for the price with lots of people who were not guests coming/going to the hotel to visit men.
Would not recommend staying here.

A very nice hotel in good location very helpful staff. However the experience was soured by the very large and a bit noisy at night building site right next to the hotel. Request a room on the opposite side and the stay would be better.

This was a great place to stay. Close to the trains, lots of restaurants and shops, the bus to the airport, everything. Great home base and the Godzilla head makes it easy to recognize the hotel. Check in and check out was smooth and easy. I found it a great value. I would stay there again.
