"When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. Hanging them on the (turned off) towel dryer in the bathroom made the clothes not dry at all in 2 days as the bathroom was always very, very humid. "The hotel is in a prime position 7 minutes walk from the train station and about the same for the medieval city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was very delicious with a large variety for breakfast and a good selection for dinner. The hotel was spotless with the staff very attentive to its cleanliness. There is a large carpark at the rear of the hotel available on request. The bedrooms were spacious and very clean, we had a fabulous time and we will definitely return in the future."
