The positives:
Great location,right on the beachfront and in between two windsurf hire centres, so very handy if that's your thing.
Our room was spaciosus and there is a nice area around the pool for relaxing with lots of sunbeds, although it was a quiet time of year.
Plenty of free parking and the staff at reception and bar area are all very friendly and helpful.
However, in my opinion, this is not a true four star hotel;
The rooms are looking fairly tired and poorly maintained. In our room the aircon didn't work, the shower head didn't fit into the wall bracket so had to be handheld and the fly screen over the patio door had lots of gaps which allowed insects through.
The breakfast was poor quality with limited options and was not well restocked. The coffee from the machine is awful but you can order cappuccino from the bar, at an extra cost of four euros!
WiFi was poor and TV small and old with no smart functionality for connection.
The cleaning of the room was not great either, with the shower tray and bathroom sink not being properly cleaned, towels were not changed regularly, things like toilet paper forgotten. Glasses and mugs were not washed once in eight days!
There is nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry.
The bar area looked ok but there was always someone, presumably the owner, smoking heavily which meant we didn't go.
Considering the price we expected more and definitely won't be returning
