"The best shower for all hotel I had been. There were so many activities for you to enjoy. I met new friends, so fun. The property builders in 1972, still good maintain. The best of all to make this place luxury was the team members who work here. They were so nice, friendly and helpful."

"To stay at Crusoeโs retreat is to go back in time. I live in Hawaii and the feeling was of how it must have been at least 60 years ago. I loved the simplicity of the resort. I brought my own mask and snorkel, but they have sets you can use for free. They also have kayaks you can use for free. An authentic village is close by and one of my friends suggested bringing things like crayons and pencils. They were very grateful. They will arrange excursions, but for me the highlight of staying at this authentic resort is the peace and quiet of just enjoying the view and location. At times it feels like being on a cruise ship with daytime and evening activities and entertainment. You can participate or just chill. Donโt expect a slick kind of resort like in a glamour magazine. Instead, you can experience the charm of a simple life (and of course, there is a bar on the property and the food was good. I had a lamb shank like Iโve never had before. It rivaled what I might have experienced at a Parisian restaurant.)"

"Perfect and special bure right on beach - Beachfront (Tula), with the sound of the sea and waves right outside your door. Bed mattress new, firm, excellent sleep. Outdoor open air shower unique and amazing, with gas-boosted instant hot water. Get a Vodafone eSim online a week before you go ($23 AUD for 50GB for 10 days), activates the day before you go, switch to it on arrival on the airport, get 4G 2/3 bars in your room at the resort as wi-fi only in the restaurant. Included Continental Breakfast good enough to start the day. Hire car needed, 2WD ok for the 1 km gravel road to resort, + easy to drive around Fiji as 50 km/h / 80 km/h everywhere, just watch out for the odd pothole. 2 hour drive from Nadi airport, stock up half way with beers and snacks at True Mart Yadua as cheapest and good selection. Friendly owner and staff always happy to help make your stay the best it can be, + friendly people everywhere you go in Fiji. Relaxing and chilled holiday, small and exclusive without the boutique or brand price."

"Large pool, really attractive, well attended grounds. Secluded & remote with a lovely sandy beach directly in front. Nice & quiet, but very thin walls between units so you could hear every word your neighbours said. Culture night feast & kava celebration were great. Unfortunately other meals were a bit disappointing. Long way from Nadi, but convenient distance to Suva. Excellent beach, excellent snorkelling."
