"What a disappointment. This hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel. It’s a 2 star hotel at best. It’s old, the amenities are not maintained, it smells like cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE, and the rooms were dirty and dingy. The room carpet was stained and old, there were cobwebs with large spiders in the room corners. There were clear signs of water damage near the windows and balcony/patio door. The specific room we booked, and paid extra for, advertised a trundle bed option. The trundle bed was a joke; was a small seat that folded out with some plywood and pillows thrown on to make the appearance of a “bed”. The mini golf course looked like something you’d see in a redneck American trailer park.
The breakfast included was rough as well. Everything tasted old and stale.
The staff was super friendly though. Téa was incredibly nice. We messaged the hotel prior to arrival to request that the trundle bed be setup upon arrival, and received a confirmation from the hotel through the Expedia message system that it would in fact be setup upon arrival. When we did arrive the trundle wasn’t setup and we were exhausted from a long day of travel. Téa felt so bad that it hadn’t been taken care of and did her best to quickly set it up.
Other pros: the parking was affordable at 5 euros per day and the location is very convenient with an excellent view of the bay and old town.
For the price we paid though, $230 USD per night after taxes for two singles and a trundle, it was abysmal."
"Everything was perfect! Could not have asked for more gracious and helpful staff absolutely loved Korcula and the hotel is perfectly placed to enjoy sitting in the outdoor dining area and enjoying the remarkably beautiful view of the harbor and people watching!"
"I am so happy to have booked a stay here. They are very accommodating and let me store my luggage in their house while waiting for the ferry. They are also very quick to respond. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Korcula!!"
"Overall we had great time and a pleasant stay. The location of hotel was excellent. The hotel representatives: Frane, Filip,Goran and Jovanka were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient! Thanks"
"Our stay was lovely. The host’s mother greeted us, gave us a tour and made sure we had everything we needed. Fresh and clean and new, there is a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was small but laid out well to accommodate two people. We appreciated the location as being slightly outside of old town, quiet and a 3 km drive for shopping and dining. A small grocery store is directly across the street. A patio has lovely views. The host’s mother also provided us with beach towels so that we could visit the beach. A outdoor grill and laundry is available for guests.
The only thing that could be improved is the WiFi, which pretty much didn’t work for us the entire stay. Since we had purchased a limited eSIM for our travels, having strong WiFi was important to us. The signal was so weak (we had a unit on the 4th floor) that it only had one bar and then dropped. Perhaps a new extender (there was one in our unit) is needed to provide quality wifi service to all guests.
Also, the curtains in the bedroom are very light and airy which is nice for natural light, but not great if you are adjusting to the time zone. Blackout curtains would be appreciated.
If retuning to the area, we would certainly consider staying here again."
"Great stay at Korcula Hills. Apartment was amazing with fantastic views. We were a bit worried once we realized how far we were from town but there are two restaurants within walking distance. La Banya was amazing. Great food, amazing staff and a beautiful beach only 5 minutes away. 10% discount for Korcula Hills guests. There is a store within a 10 minute walk which has the basic necessities. I would probably rent a car or scooter if I went back. We came in May so the pool was a little cold but would be great to use in the summer. I would definitely come back to this property. We loved it."
