Lovely hotel opposite the train station and very close to the attractions, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the castle, lake, shops, town, etc, which makes this a perfect location. The room was great, shower wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the huge windows, the desk space and the comfy chair. Everywhere was modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of good quality options. I wasn't keen on the QR code booking breakfast/check out systen, as this didn't really work, but this is a minor issue. I certainly recommend this hotel.

The staff had no clue how to find my Expedia booking. I tried to help by giving my info and the woman was rude. Very surprising for it being Denmark. I also had a danish speaker with me and the woman was rude to her as well. The staff can use a little more training on how to handle guess.

A nice, quiet hotel in a great central area. Decor was nice and the breakfast was decent. Room got a little warm and stuffy as the central air didn't seem to be working, and there's no fridge in the rooms.

Nice location and breakfast
We did enjoy our stay overall and the breakfast was great. The front desk reception person was very friendly and helpful. The only considerations would relate to airflow. We did not feel comfortable opening the balcony door to let cooler air in. There was a small window to open, however it was very high (even for a 6'3" person standing on a hair) and the small room fan was ineffective at cooling the room. I would recommend the hotel and location keeping those things in mind.

Short pleasant stay
Was only a brief one night stay. Pleasant arrival & quick check-in. Breakfast was nice also. Big downside was the extremely soft mattress on the bed, never seen anything quite like it. I put the topper on the floor & slept there.

Hotel Kolding Luxury!
Sheer luxury at Hotel Kolding. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean spacious and very comfortable. Amazing buffet breakfast.

Unfortunately there was limited control of the heating system so the room was either super heated or volcanic levels of temperature. Breakfast on the whole was good but the bacon was not exchanged for the duration of my stay and as you could imagine it was an overcooked mass of dry matter totally inedible!

Hello Thank you for your feedback. Hope you did enjoy your stay by us. I will check up with kitchen straight away, but i can re -sure you, bacon is changed every day. Maybe it was just a bit overcooked that day. Temperature system is automatically adjusted in all hotel, but it is possible to also adjust it in room and bathroom. Hopefully you where down in reception to ask for help:) Wishing you a great day.

Decent hotel at great location.
Booked a room with view on the lake, but you could see it face flat on the window (angle view) and through trees. Room was small, but modern and because of sun on the window also bit warm (no airco). Very clean and up-to-date room and hotel with very friendly staff. From the hotel you easily walk to a park and city center with good restaurants nearby.

Groot modern hotel, maar kleine benauwde kamers zonder airco. Raam kan wel open maar aan de straatkant geeft dat heel veel lawaai. Erg goed ontbijt. Maar een douchegordijn dat tegen je aanplakt is niet echt meer van deze tijd.

Hotel is netjes, fijn ontbijt, parkeren kan in de buurt en direct in het centrum. De bedden waren zacht en je ligt in een kuil. Niet echt prettig slapen.

Igen et godt ophold
Igen havde jeg et godt ophold. Det fungerer altid og det er et hyggeligt hotel. Hvis jeg skulle komme med lidt malurt i bægeret - så giver det ikke menig, at alt lys er tændt på værelset, når der ikke er nogen på værelset.
