The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about substantial changes to the way we travel. If you're planning an escape to Koh Chang Tai, the following tips will help you navigate these new challenges and rules:

• Look into the rules and restrictions in both your origin and destination. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so be sure to check before you lock something in.
• You must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, even at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for identification purposes when asked by a TSA officer.
• Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA employee. Rather, position your pass on the scanner and then hold it up for inspection.
• You are now allowed to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. You'll have to remove it for screening.
• Place any personal items (phone, keys and wallet) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• If you're taking food through the screening checkpoint, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to touch your food container or carry-on bag for closer inspection.
