Staff was friendly, but the kiosk to check-in felt less warm than a normal check-in. Room was clean and neat, the bed was hard which I've heard is possible for Japanese rooms. A bit odd that the best way to walk there from the train station was to walk through a large park, but it was fine.

The hotel description is very misleading. The rooms are extremely small, and the double room is one tiny bed (the same size as one bed in a twin room). Toyoko Inn Fuji Kawaguchiko Ohashi
Perfect place to stay. Its so clean, the staff is friendly, there is free shuttle by the hotel to/from Kawaguchiko station every 10 mins which takes literally 2 mins. Breakfast is included, very close to the kawaguchi lake. Highly recommended.

Highland Resort Hotel & Spa
GREAT VIEWS of Mt Fuji while having breakfast. Good selection of food as well. Rooms were comfortable, Onsen access required a short walk through covered hallway but is accessible. Perfect location to the amusement park. Parking very accessible.
